Project Objectives

To 1) review literature in order to develop an understanding of systemic and mitigating strategies and innovative approaches that can be used to address child poverty in the Northwest Territories; and 2) make recommendations for key areas of action for reducing child poverty rates in the Northwest Territories, with identification of indicators/measures that would demonstrate progress and/or success.
