Dr. Beverley Temple has been a nurse for many years, working at the bedside in a variety of clinical areas for over 20 years. She has a PhD from UBC where she began her research in children and tobacco use of parents. She has spent much of her career engaged with parents, families and organizations who support persons with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. She has been involved with international organization (IASSIDD) in pursuit of research and best practice. She maintains a mentoring role with faculty and facilitating role for applied research with local health organizations. Dr. Temple continues as an adjunct at University of Manitoba and sits on graduate committees.
