Family Medicine Scope of Practice

Versatility and extended scope of practice in family medicine

A rapid review to assess the association between extended scope of practice in family medicine and physician outcomes.

Findings from this rapid review informed a position statement being developed by the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services to encourage versatility in practice. It is anticipated, findings will also help the College of Family Physicians and medical schools in Quebec to promote versatility in practice among physicians in training and medical students.
