Maxime Sasseville
Maxime Sasseville is an associate professor in nursing sciences at Université Laval and researcher at the VITAM research centre in Québec, Canada. He has a PhD in health sciences research from Université de Sherbrooke and a postdoc from Université Laval in digital measurement and interventions. He has obtained multiple prizes and recognition for the quality of his knowledge translation activities. He is a mentor in the TUTOR-PHC program, a national primary care research capacity-building initiative, and serves as Associate Editor for Systematic Reviews. His current research program focuses on the implementation of artificial intelligence in health systems, including the responsible integration of large language models, digital interventions, and learning health systems. His work emphasizes ethical data governance, patient-reported outcomes, and the co-creation of AI-driven tools to improve decision-making, care quality, and system learning.
