This rapid review aims to identify models of obstetric care that have been shown to increase safety and promote service satisfaction for patients in rural areas.
Health system decision makers in Newfoundland and Labrador are seeking evidence to improve the quality of care for people in rural locations, given the province’s significant rural geography. Findings from this rapid review will inform policy and practices to increase patient safety and satisfaction with obstetrics care services in rural areas.
