Family Violence in Northern Communities

A comprehensive approach to prevent and address family violence in northern, remote, and primarily indigenous communities

A scoping review with community partner sharing circles involving  Indigenous youth and Elders to identify effective short- and long-term strategies to reduce the incidence and severity of family violence in northern, remote, primarily Indigenous communities.

Findings from this work will be used by the Government of Northwest Territories to create a comprehensive approach for reducing family violence in the region.
